Wow, I have the opposite problem with the speaker.
Its too loud and its very hard to get quieter. Other than the side
volume control, you can control the volume of talks (talks+7/talks=8
if I remember correctly), and I think I remember seeing something to
control the volume in the reader. However, I havn't played with that
yet.
