Does the N-82 have a speaker phone feature?
Thanks,
Kathy

Hi again --
As I said before, in my experience the n73 has more max volume and a clearer
sound -- the n73 is also smaller than the n82. It is interesting that the
little n73 put on speakerphone can be heard and interact with a group of
people at once, whereas the speakerphone option on the n82 has a nice sound
but not loud enough to be practical in a group of people talking from
different parts of the room.
But the n82 has so many extremely good specs that I am inclined to forgive
it for not being loud enough, at least as long as my hearing holds up
(*smile*) at which time I will start complaining...*smile* Oh and as to the
question earlier on this list, there are 3 memories in the phone -- the sim
card which is what interacts with the provider, the phone memory where all
the phone programs and data reside, and a third multimedia card that slides
into a little port on the left side of the phone about 2/3 the way up from
the bottom, which I believe stores all the downloaded stuff and pictures and
videos.
The sim card and memory card are removable and the phone will still operate,
but it doesn't do much without these cards. The phone memory is builtin
hardware and can't be removed.
There is also a usb cable that connects the phone to the computer, and when
you connect this cable, the phone will ask if you want it to interact with
pc suite, which is the software on the pc that talks to the various phone
models -- or you can mount the phone as a memory card and copy files to and
from the phone, and there are other options. So far those 2 are the only
options I have used.
Hope that gives newbies enough info to make a decision. If you can afford
this thing I am really impressed with it and even though it will take a few
months to pay off the credit card. Good luck and happy chatting!

I find the sound of the n82 to be acceptable for the device configuration.
