hi, having seen the n eighty two today and the reader my comments are
1. i do like the reader now i ahve seen it and it worked well on even
the dr. who leaflet i scanned from my DVD box set
2. i find the n eighty two maybe a touch quiet. compared to the n
seventy three this is, anyone else observe this?
3. the phone feels very shiny but may not be too bad to hold on a
call, not too sure. i am if i get the phone going to go i think
formobile speak on it, mainly because i already ahve it on my n
seventy three, so i can just pay an upgrade cost
at least i guess, unlike the classic where one had to shell out for
the whole package, you can buy the phone and screenreader, maybe wait
till one has enough funding then get the reader
I hear more languages are coming soon, as there is a language option
in settings, as more importantly, a representative from the UK
distributor informed met hat the french will use sapi five voices,
from realspeak so i assume other languages will do the same
so yes, i did like the reader
but the phone seems just a touch too quiet, maybe due to the placement
of the speakers. hopefuly i can hear it when out and aobut. By no
means am i hearing impaired, but i am not sure if this phone is
supposed to sound as quiet as it did. when i used it it was on inety
five percent in a quiet room i just don't know if it has a loud basey
sound too it like, say, the n ninety five, or n ninety one.
