Let's try to get this straightened out. Are you saying that you have a dealer in the UK and that he can no longer sell the
reader? I would guess that if no versions of this phone are sold in the UK but that they are still being made as is
indicated that some arrangement will likely be made with Nokia for this purpose.
Beyond this, though, it is very likely that the platform upon which the reader software runs will change over time even if it
doesn't happen right now. Most of us use cellphones well beyond the time they are discontinued, though. I'm not
particularly happy with how quickly models come and go, but some of the reason is that they keep getting more
powerful.
If you are really interested in purchasing a reader, I would take this up with a dealer there or write to the company
directly to see what arrangements can be made.
