To that end, is North American HSDPA supported on the N82?  Otherwise it
would seem to me that we'd run into an issue where a phone call kills your
GPS, which is only really awesome if you don't need to know where you are or
what's around you.

Hi,
WayFinder uses an Internet connection to access the maps.
The maps are not local to the phone.  This has both advantages and
disadvantages.
