Hi,

If you have home owner's or renter's insurance, then you could add 
the Reader, phone, and phone software asa rider to your insurance 
policy. I did that after I bought my KNFB Reader. I have not done 
that with my Verizon phone because it cost me nothing, to begin with. 
Yes, that will cost you a fee, but if you take out replacement 
insurance, your expensive phone/reader will be covered.
