[Reader-users] self introduction

Terry:
It strikes me that it would help you a lot were you to sit down and read
the manual for the Reader in its entirety. Much (though not all) of what
you ask is explained in the manual.
If, in truth, you are only showing 4% filled, you probably have the
Reader to far above the envelop. Ideally, you want the image to be
filled between 50% and 70% although I am satisfied if I get in the 30's
or 40's.
There is no REPEAT Key as such. Perhaps you might like to slow the unit
down or use amplified headphones so that you could get more volume?

Hi Gary;
I usually get between 0 and 4%. A few times it has been a little
more.
Sometimes it has had to I guess refocus and then tells me there is no
text. I can see the text.
As a child I had 20/400 tunnel vision, but it sure is not that good
any
more.
By the way is there a command to get the reader to repeat what it just
read. I have a mild hearing problem as you most likely know, I have
epelepsi. Sometimes it is a little complicated to obsorb everything
that is being said at once.
Last week, I was having trouble getting the camera to come on. That
is
what made me think it was the battery that was low. I also wonder if
I
was using the right button, because later I noticed on the PDA, there
is
a round button and an oval button. I do not remember reading about
these and it makes me wonder if I could have been pressing the wrong
butten when trying to turn on the camera. Some how my reader was
saying
something about saving a document when I shut down. I have not even
explored this feature and do not know how this came up.
Thanks for any advice. Sorry if I am asking to many questions.

When you do a Field of View report, what does it say prior to you
taking
the
picture - in other words, is it seeing all of your envelope?
