Vicky, Tracy and others;
Can anyone give me any advice on why I am having trouble getting the
return addresses on mail?  Could it have been the camera battery?  How
do I tell if I am to close or to far?  It is not even picking up writing
on the right side of the envelope.  I have tried memo and labels mode.
Sometimes changing helps a little, but not enough to get a full return
address.

Like Jim, I use the reader mostly for mail.  My husband's sight has
deteriorated significantly over the past couple years, and I am very
happy
to be able to help him out by sorting out the important stuff from the
junk.  And I glance through the catalogs and stuff he used to just throw
out.  Fun!  I also read the tiny local paper, which can be interesting,
and is too big to fit on my scanner.  And, last time we went away, I was
able to read the room service menu!  I've also read menus for several
local restaurants, and found things we didn't know they had.  And
avoided
the horrible "What do you have? what do you want?" circle.
I also went through the medicine cabinet, and threw out a bunch of old
stuff, and re-organized the rest, when I actually found out what it was,
after sticking on some braille labels.
