[Reader-users] What is calibration?

It is my understanding that the newer readers, which the Spanish
version would be, do not have to be calibrated. so, you don't have
to worry, and the battery can be changed by a blind person.

Hi,

On the last days, some of you have been talking about the reader's
battery durability and about the readers calibration. What is this
all about? Is it true that in order to do the calibration process
one needs sided asistance?

Please note that I am in the process of purchasing my reader (I am
waiting for the Spanish version), but after reading the multiple
messages on the list, I need to make sure that the reader will make
me independent rather than depending on somebody to give it
maintenance (changing battery and calibrating the machine).

Thank you very much and I hope to hear from you very soon.

Sincerely,

Livio Novi.
