[Reader-users] more info on my reader

Hi Jim;
I have the same problem. My m-power can go for about a week, with out
any use, so I had no idea that from late Wednesday to late Friday, that
it would go dead on me. It was on full charge prier. If the goal of
the NFB is independence, why in the world did they make this
recalibration feature. I do not even remember hearing about it. If I
have under 20/400, do you think someone could walk me through the steps?
How long should I have been able to get on the battery, while on travel.
I just went to state convention. By the way, I never found any from
KNFB at the MD state. I am sorry to be a complainer, but this was a
shock, when I went to show it to my room mate and it would not work.
Tom Bickford from my chapter checked it over and told me the problem.
How did some people get their hands on model B when the only one being
shown at National, I think, was A. This means we had no choice. Many
of us have few who know anything about delicate technology like this.

Hi Jan:

Your Reader almost certainly needs recalibration. This is very simple
but does require having someone with sight around to follow the
directions on the screen. Please call the NFB tech support for
assistance with this.

Thanks, J. G.

I will make some chiming noises if I press some of the buttons, but no
talking, and the re-set button doesn't work. Any ideas?
Jan
