[Reader-users] saving files to a computer

I have had the same problem with my XP computer, when I put it in my Vista the card is there. But the other problem I have had is the file being given a name that the computer does not understand and can't open or will not delete. It is not the date it is somekind of weird figures and lines. I do have the date set correctly and I am saving after every so many pictures when doing a large document.

  Hi:

Thank you for the tips. I did try to get the computer to read the card by
using a card reader, but unfortunately, neither Win98 nor Win-XP-Pro would
even acknowledge the card. The card reader itself is shown in the "my
computer" section but it doesn't see the card.

This isn't the first time I have had problems with Kingston sd cards; I
have two new 4gb Kingston cards that I can't use for the same reason.

Has anyone ever run into a problem like this? Is it possible to send the
files from the knfb reader directly to the computer via usb?
  Thanks in advance.

  Dora
