Hi Livio:
As I have told you on the phone, we are committed to having a Reader for
Spanish that you will really like. We are not having any particular
technical difficulties with the translation itself at this point, and we are
not dragging our feet either. We want to have a Reader for Spanish as soon
as we can, but we want it to be a Reader that lives up to our quality
standards. At this point we are working on the underlying technology to be
certain the Reader we have available will be a Reader that does what you
want.
Thanks, J. G.

Subject: [Reader-users] Languages for the KNFB Reader.
Hi,
Can someone please tell me approximately when will the reader be able to
read Spanish, as well as other languages besides English? Please do not
take this personally, but why is it taking so long (please talk about the
technical difficulties you are having, i am just being curious)?
Has any KNFB Reader user ever tried to read other language rather than
English, and then transferred the text to either a computer or a note taker
with the capability of reading other languages? What has being the result,
especially with such as accented characters or ñ?
Please answer this the sooner you can because this feedback is very
important to me.
Thank you very much and I hope to hear from you very soon.
Sincerely,
Livio Novi.
