Jan,

Have you tried to reinstall the software?  I don't know if that would make a 
difference, or even if it would help, but I think, since it does make 
chiming noises, I'd try that.

I will make some chiming noises if I press some of the buttons, but no 
talking, and the re-set button doesn't work. Any ideas?
