[Reader-users] Difference in Readers and Recalibration

Well, as far as I can tell, from reading about the Reader models, over the
past year and a half or so, there are very few differences in the two
models. The functionality is exactly the same. The buttons are positioned
a little differently, but that makes no difference in the operation of the
Stream. The only major difference, if you consider it to be a big problem,
is the fact that model A does have to be recalibrated if you allow the
battery to discharge far enough that it goes to zero and the Reader will not
turn on.

I've had my model A Reader since May of 2006 and have *NEVER* had to
recalibrate it. I do not leave it plugged in all the time, but use it on a
daily basis and, if I am not using it every single day, I check it to be
sure the battery has not dropped below 30%. If it is at 30%, I plug it in.
The need to have it recalibrated is totally avoidable, in my opinion.
