[Reader-users] Battery Problems

Never had this problem with this specific camera etc., but I'd say the first 
thing you should check is that there isn't something that managed to get 
into the battery slot which is now covering/blocking the actual battery 
contact points.

Not necessarily very likely in this specific gadget, but I've seen something 
like that in a camera that got used outdoors, and it can be something as 
simple as a small piece of paper/plastic that's stopping the camera from 
actually getting any electricity from the battery.
