[Reader-users] My reader will not turn on

FWIW, I have had similar issues in the past a couple of times.

The first time I asked the support guys, they told me to try two different
methods of resetting the reader.

Firstly, keep it plugged in to the charging system, then firstly, try F1 and
then F3.

If this does nothing, then the reset button which is on the bottom edge of
the reader sort of on the left side, and I normally sort of hold it in for
around 3 seconds, after which the reader should reset, and you will normally
initially hear the welcome message before the normal voice tells you the
software version, and then does the normal startup procedure.
