Pam,
Since I am still learning to take good pictures myself, and since I have a
terrible time grasping the concept of "relative to the page", I lay whatever
I want to take a picture of on my dining room table, sit down in a chair at
the table and raise the camera probably chin high. Part of the problem, I
think, and I'm not sure because up until I got the Reader, I certainly
didn't take pictures of anything, <grin>, is that as a totally blind person,
saying something is "rotated 9 degrees counterclockwise to the page", makes
no sense to me. I know what counter clockwise is, I know what rotating is,
but I have a horrible time trying to put the two concepts together in my
brain to understand what the camera is really saying. LOLOLOL so if any of
you really proficient Reader users care to try to explain, I bet several of
us would be happy to learn. My husband also told me that it might be better
to tilt the camera end of the reader, i.e., the end farthest from you, just
a tad up-I was holding it what seemed to me to be even, and he said to tilt
it just a bit up.
You'll learn though, I swear!
Hugs!
Shannon
