Hi Cindy:

Recalibrating the Reader is quite easy.  You can probably talk
him through it.  You will find the sequence of steps involved in
the User guide.  It is really quite straight forward.  Just call
into the tech support line if you do need more help.  You can
also call Ann-Marie Laney at extension 2219, or Alison
Hammerbacher, at extension 2222, if you don't get an answer
through the tech support line.  Either Ann-marie or Alison are
experienced with doing this.

You do need to be sure that the Reader has been plugged into a
live outlet so it is recharged when you start.  Also, I would
start by pressing the reset button.  You can start the
recalibration steps after you hear a high-pitched chime.

Remember, you need to reload the software, using the SD card,
after the recalibration.  This whole process should take less
than 5 minutes.
