[Reader-users] IDEA FOR THE READER

Hello Debby,

The "Reader" is the K-NFB Reader, a handheld PDA with a digital camera 
attached and specialized software to convert the picture, which the camera 
takes, to speech.  It's the first portable device of its kind, anywhere.  It 
has been on the market for about ten and a half months...having been 
released July 1 of 2006.
