Hi Rob:  I have to assume that your question is serious, so I 
will give you a serious response.  The short answer is obviously 
"no."  Price changes are extremely common, especially with 
consumer electronics.  It would be impractical, let alone 
financially impossible, for manufacturers to provide a rebate to 
all prior customers every time the price goes down.  Besides, as 
a user of the technology, you really want the manufacturer to 
have enough resources to support continued development in order 
to improve your investment.
