[Reader-users] Reset is the only way to turn mine on

I can only turn my unit on by using the reset button.  I reported this when
we were testing the reader, and I received no response from no one so I'm
still using the reader using only the reset button.  Since it is working
that way I've not followed up with the question again.  However, if anyone
has any ideas, it would be nice to know them.  

Plus, spiratically, my unit with its new installation, frequently will not
go back to "shooting mode".  I get a message saying that perhaps the unit is
in currency mode and to try taking a picture again.  Anyone else have this
problem?
