[Reader-users] hello from a newbie

Hello all -- I just joined this list not long ago and am hoping to be able 
to get to the convention next week to see the reader demo'd... I have a lot 
of questions -- does anyone on the list have a reader already and how well 
does it work? How much does it cost? And what is MobileEyes or whatever it 
is called and who puts it out? How much is it? Are both products be 
displayed at the convention?

As you might have gathered I am seriously looking into getting the reader 
but don't know if I should get it now or later when some of the bugs are 
worked out.  Now that it has been on the market for a little while I hoped 
it might be something I could use while traveling.

I don't want to get it now if there is a change on the horizon that would 
make the current model obsolete -- kind of like that money identifier that 
became obsolete when the new $$20 bills came out, and the company had to 
change not only the firmware but the hardware.

I look forward to hearing people's experiences.  It still is not certain we 
will be able to get away next week, but if I am there maybe I'll meet some 
of you.
