Hi Roy.
I have had my reader for over one year. I use it to primarily read mail.
It takes some practice. It helps if I lay the reader on the center of the page and then slowly lift it up to about the height of my forehead. I usually will take the first page using the field of view report. If the field of view report says that the picture can't be detected because there is not enough light I open a blind to let the sun in, turn on a light or use a small reading light. Jim Gashel suggested to take pictures of the same page several times experimenting with the height. That is how I learned to use it to its best potential.

It also works well in a room with fluorescent lights. I have also found that if it is not taking clear pictures I may need to change the camera battery.

Give it a little more time. Read Jim's tutorial CD and be a little patient with it.
Hope

.Hello I khavae been using my reader for about one year and love it. The
.learning is not that difficult. I am technically a senior citizen and find
.it quite useful. l I do not know every feature, but have read mail,
.paperback books, bank statements, labels on boxes, some labels o cans,
.vitamin bogtles, hotel iterature including extensions for restaurants etc.

.To whom this may concern:
.
.I am a owner of The KWRM for about three weeks now! I regret to say that I
.am no better off today than I was when I first bought it. There are so many
.buttons, modes, and arrows that I feel "turned off" and return the thing
.where I got it from. But before I do that, can someone please tell me how he
.or she got to learn how to make it work for him/her? any suggestion would be
.happily received.
.
.Thank you.
