Thanks for all of your help in trying to resolve the problems that I had
this weekend when trying to use the reader. Fortunately, I have had better
luck on other occasions. I did try again on page 90 and again, I got "no
text". The pages that I was trying to read were several pages later, and I
looked again at them. there was no crossed out text -- just underlined text
indicating new additions to the bill. I'm guessing that my copy was just
not clear or dark enough for the reader.
Here's something else that's happening to me that didn't used to happen.
I do not get a warning that the camera battery is low. It simply turns off
and cannot be turned back on. Changing the battery can also be a problem I
usually get at least once that a problem has been detected and that the
camera is being reset. This usually doesn't have any effect on the
operation. I end up opening the battery compartment, checking to see that
it's tightly in, and then tightening the case as tightly as possible. It
hasn't always been this sensitive.
Is it possible that there's just something wrong with the reader?
It is true that I did not move easily into thecurrent age of technology
since I did not grow up with computers, IPOD's and cell phones as my son
and daughters did.
Again, thanks for all your help.
