Hi Terry. I'll take a stab at your questions but will probably need help.

I find it is very good at telling me I have a bill but I am somewhat less 
confident when it comes to knowing exactly what column I'm hearing. Since I 
normally need a reader to fill out the check and put the relevant part of 
the bill with it, I have to say I've not exercised the Reader as much as 
others might.

With so few keys, how can
> you give a document a name?
I think the document name is comprised of the date and time. I do not know 
of a way to rename it to something which describes what is there.

Is there somewhere I can go to see the
> layout of the keys and its functions?
The layout is given in the manual which you should be able to read from the 
Reader site.
