[Reader-users] Battery discharge without use

Do not quote me, but somewhere I heard or read the stand was available.
Also for the people who have not bought yet, the cost has been reduced
to $2,500. Good thing I read that, you almost had an extra zero in that
price!
How well is the machine for reading bills? With so few keys, how can
you give a document a name? Is there somewhere I can go to see the
layout of the keys and its functions?

Hi Terry. There are two batteries which power the Reader. One is used in
the
camera. There are two camera batteries so that when one is being
charged
you can use the other. Then there is the battery inside the little
computer
which you charge by attaching the included power chord.
My guess is that the stand, which is not yet available unless I've
missed an
announcement, would be ideal for someone whose hands are shaky. I
believe
good recognition does count on the camera being stable relative to the
print
when the shot is taken.
If you want to talk about the Reader, feel free to call me at
573/268-4245.
Gary
