I've had this happen to me on several occasions. I just know that the moment I get home, I absolutely have to plug in my Reader and leave it plugged in at home whenever I'm not using it. I've had several occasions when I reach for my reader and it's warm and won't function. Usually I can locate an outlet wherever I am and it immediately comes back to life or I can do a reset and it begins speaking again.

Hello i had something like this happen once to me as well. I reported it
about a month ago. It was after reading sojething at a Toyota dealer. The
reader got hot and turned off. After about eight hours of being plugged in
all of sudden it came back to life and has worked since.
