[Reader-users] When will the update be on the sight?

Hi James:

Once again you are insisting that you are being mistreated by not living in
the U. S.  This is just not the case.  

My response to Rob had to do with the Reader which he purchased from the
NFB.  I was only referring to the update packages for those who purchased
their Readers from the NFB.  We are entirely confident that that software
will run just fine, so the updates are now being sent.  Neither version of
the software is being posted on the website just yet.  That may happen just
about the time that Rob receives his update package in the U. S. mail.  

Concerning the stand, Neither your dealer nor any other dealer has been
officially notified about the stand at this point.  All of them have seen a
picture of it, and your dealer saw a model on April 28.  So, it is not the
case that they haven't known anything about it or that someone is holding
back information.  

All dealers should be receiving a detailed notice about ordering procedures
for obtaining the stand later this week.  I know for a fact that neither
your dealer nor any of the dealers in the U. S. has received that notice
yet.  So, no one is holding back information from you just because you don't
live in the U. S.

Hi Jim and folks,

If the update is being shipped out to customers in the states this week,
when will we see it on the website? As an overseas customer it is looking
like we are possibly being short changed. For instance, our dealer, sight
and sound technology, didn't even know of the stands exhistance, what is
going on there? After all, i'd like to order one but I suspect the import on
it would be a fortune.
