[Reader-users] back again!

Hi there,
As I understand it, the mobile eyes product seems to be aimed at a different
demographic. What you essentially have with there's is a windows mobile PC
running the OCR software. There recognition, according to Jim anyway, is
less accurate and I do trust his judgement on that. It does have the ability
to do other things like play mp3 files and music but then that to me is a
waist of time on a device like this. The camera is a 10 megapixel one as
opposed to the 5 megapixel one on our reader. This may sound like a great
advantage, but really, your dealing with text so I would suspect the
megapixel count is more or less redundant. Most phones only come with a 4
megapixel camera on them and think how many sighted folks take pictures of
there mates. All we're doing is reading text and to be honest, your best
sticking to the KNFB. From emails with Jim, it's obvious that KNFB
technologies are more interested in productivity over gimicks.
All the best
-James-
