Hi -- I just followed the instructions in the braille users guide to change
the camera battery and it is quite easy. There is a very good set of
instructions in the guide. You don't even need to take the unit out of the
case, although you do need to open the velkro to get at the battery door.
Just a note... You shouldn't have any problems as everything works nicely as
described.

Hi the reader is not as dfficult as it first appears. Taking out the camera
battery is not too difficult. If the tester at your chapter meeting does not
show you any of us on the list will be happy to walk you through. I am not a
super technical person, but would even be willing to call yhou and assist
over the phone ifnecessary.i

Hi there, any set of speakers/headphones should work provided they fit the

Welcome Jim Gashal! Everyone, I brought home my KNFB reader. I love it. At
the NFB convention, my first picture, with out the stand was 8%. Super for a
first time! I also ordered a victer stream. I have been reading the manual
and I love how they put the commands in a separate book! How much is the
speaker and who do I go through to order one. With the head set the volume
is great, but in an open room, I can hardly hear the reader with out holding
near me. I do have a mild hearing problem. Can we use other head sets as
long as they fit the plug. Jim; When someone buys the machine, if you can,
show them how the battery charger works and I still do not know how to take
the camera battery out. I can find out at chapter meeting. We have a KNFB
tester in our chapter. That's the first time I have ever seen an electrical
plug that folds up, neet. Someone in my office showed me. Bye for now. Guess
I have a lot of learning ahead. Terry Powers Theresa L. Powers (Terry)
