[Reader-users] back again!

Hi Terri -- I am also having a little trouble hearing the voice on my unit,
and the ear buds that came with the unit are not usable to me because I use
hearing aids. I need a headset with a band instead of ear buds. But if that
is all the complaint I have with this gadget it is definitely worth the
money! I again would like to say that this is the best purchase I have made
since my first CCTV back when I still had reading vision! I am thrilled
with my reader, and already it has proven extremely useful.
Thanks and thanks again to the developers...
I would however be interested if someone purchased the other reader (from
Gorilla Inc) as I would like to know what problems it has and what uses
beyond what the knfb reader provides. I chose the knfb for a variety of
reasons but indeed the other one may have merit as well.
The people at their booth said they had sold several units at convention.
I suppose these users would not be subscribed to this list.
But I am only curious for curiosity's sake as I am happy with the knfb.
Cheers all!

Welcome Jim Gashal! Everyone, I brought home my KNFB reader. I love
it. At the NFB convention, my first picture, with out the stand was 8%.
Super for a first time! I also ordered a victer stream.
I have been reading the manual and I love how they put the commands in a
separate book!
How much is the speaker and who do I go through to order one. With the
head set the volume is great, but in an open room, I can hardly hear the
reader with out holding near me. I do have a mild hearing problem.
Can we use other head sets as long as they fit the plug.
Jim; When someone buys the machine, if you can, show them how the
battery charger works and I still do not know how to take the camera
battery out. I can find out at chapter meeting. We have a KNFB tester
in our chapter.
That's the first time I have ever seen an electrical plug that folds up,
neet. Someone in my office showed me.
Bye for now. Guess I have a lot of learning ahead.
