Hello,
What was demonstrated at the exhibit hall table was the updated
version which was being distributed if you had your sd card with
you.
When Ray Kurtzweil demonstrated the reader on Thursday, he was
using a software version that is not available yet.
He was demonstrating what will be in the future, so when it said
that the cup was a cup and the pill bottle was whatever it said,
that is from a version that will be available very soon, but not
yet.
The new current version allows you to read different types of
colored backgrounds, such as light text with dark background.
