Hi Kim.  The new version is 3.8a and it lets you read not only 
light on dark but also dark on light or what some people call 
inverse text.  It's pretty neat.  There is also an express mode 
which people can use if they have trouble pressing one key to 
scan or read.  This mode lets any of the arrow keys scan or read.
