Hi,
Regarding your comment about people complaining about the new functionality,
isn't that called progress? If we all sat down and said that's lovely and
didn't make any observations, complaints or tried to further the progress of
things, good old Aristotle would have the earth still at the centre of the
universe, columbus wouldn't have discovered your country for a start, not to
mention we'd still think that the world was flat.
Scientific progress in any disiplin requires that one make suitable, but
logical observations and try to further our understanding of things using a
process of Reductio ad absurdum, in other words, my proof is correct because
yours is, by example, incorrect. Godel stated as mutch in many of his works,
not to mention the renound philosopher Carl Popper spent a great deal of his
time working on his theory of critical rationalism.
the reason why I brought up these topics here is that what we see on this
list is similar to this in that the complainers as you like to put it, are
actually, by design, proving that functionality isn't working to spec and
offering alternatives, E.G Reductio ad absurdum. Isn't that the point of any
beta test cycle? With respect you obviously have no clue about the design
process.
All the best
-James-
