Neither is a hard reset. That is triggered by a different button that isn't
easy to get at.

Subject: [Reader-users] Reset of the PDA

According to the User Guide, there are two ways to reset the PDA system -
one by pressing F4 then F3, and one by pressing the recessed round button.
Which of these is considered a "hard reset?" I ask because the Guide also
says that recalibration is required after a hard reset, and since that
sounds like a rather involved process and requires sighted assistance, I
want to avoid having to do it. So, if my system should need to be reset,
which is the safest one to use?

Nancy
