Once the Reader is charged up, the adaptor will make a chirping sound. So it
sounds as if you're firing on all cylinders!

Subject: [Reader-users] power cord

Question here. Thursday I just received my second reader. Needless to say,
the 1st one died because of power cord issues. Now for reader #2. When it
came out of the box I immediately plugged it up. This morning just on a
whim I checked the connector box for sounds. It is now making a strange
noise which I'm not sure how to describe. It wasn't making any noise when I
first plugged it up. Am I remembering correctly that the correct situation
should be silence? I welcome any suggestions that do not involve me
purchasing another power cord. Thanks in advance.
Smile! GOD loves you!
