Jim,
After 30 tries or more and actually using a ruler I am getting better on my
currency.  The percentage in the "field of view" works anywhere from %30 to
%80.  As you say, the machine really does like to see two edges.  Thanks to
the friend who said to long press "enter" for the orientation. I am still
getting some "No match" responses.
