[Reader-users] CARRYING THE UNIT ON A LANYARD

JD,
I wouldn't recommend it. This isn't a camera. It's a caamera combined with
a PDA, and that lanyard loop was only intended to support one of them.
Personally, I wouldn't risk making the Reader that vulnerable. Finding a
protective case that is only slightly larger than the unit itself seems a
much safer approach. That's what I did, and it feels definitely worth that
tiny little hassle of unzipping that case to pull the Reader out when I need
it.

Subject: [Reader-users] CARRYING THE UNIT ON A LANYARD
Hello Listers:
I spoke to customer support a while ago to find the SD
card slot. They told me to look behind the lanyard loop.
So take a look; by the camera battery compartment there is a
lanyard ring, little but there all the same. It is a little
metal loop. Is it safe to attach a lanyard to this loop and
carry the reader around like a camera?
Inquiring mind wants to know.
JD
