[Reader-users] two questions

Hello Frank,
I would recommend asking someone to test out some sheet music for you first.
I may be able to do that for you and provide you with some feedback later
today.
As for CD's, the first recommendation you received regarding the Media
Player program on a personal computer is probably the best way to go.
Another solution that I use for some things around my house and office uses
a print labeler which can be purchased from any office supply store and read
by the KNFB Reader. For example, I'll label the cover of a CD or the actual
CD itself with a print label so I may know what it is before I place it in
the CD-ROM Drive. Sometimes the Braille dots will not allow for a CD to be
put into particular CD-ROM Drives and I'd like to know which CD is which
before I place it into the CD player. A print label is not bulky and the
KNFB Reader reads labels that are made of paper just fine. Some label tape
is made of plastic which is too glossy for the KNFB Reader to read.
An obstacle to this solution is the fact that I need to have a person print
the labels for me because they are not accessible to me non-visually but
once it's done, I now have access to it.
Hope this helps.
Best,
Chad

Subject: [Reader-users] two questions
Dear List,
I have two questions regarding the reader.
1. I teach music in an after school program and at a church.
I receive lots of music that I have to evaluate and teach.
I receive sheet music in print and someone has to read to me the
lyrics.
Could the reader pick out the words from the sheet music?
2. I use lots of CDS in my after school classes. Will the
reader read the tracks and CD information from the CD insert?
Thank you.
Frank M. Hernandez.
Tucson, Arizona.
