[Reader-users] Hello

Hello John:

The reader is an amazing piece of technology. It delivers more
than I expected. I find that I am using it to read such odd
things as vitamin bottles, soup cans and the like as well as
posts on bulletin boards, hand-outs and mail. The accuracy is
surprisingly good.

Being impatient I wish it would do the job a bit faster.

The method of receiving software upgrades is, to me, the one most
troubling issue. You've got to send a SD card back to the folks
who sold you the unit and, if they do as they ought, they put the
upgrade onto the card and return it -- snail mail and horse and
buggy stuff on a wonderfully high tech device.

It costs, but it delivers more than you expect.

>Hello,
>My name is John Doering.  I am considering purchasing the K/NFB
Reader.  I joined the list to see what is being said about the
reader by it's users.  I have been lurking for 2 days and have
not received any posts.  Can I then assume that you users have
not experienced many problems using the reader?  If anyone has
had problems with the reader, I would like to hear them.  I would
also like to hear any positive comments you wish to share.  I
would appreciate any feedback.
