[Reader-users] upgrade bug-free and ready?

Dear Jim,
One issue that I am having with the reader is that the power connection
to the reader is not tight. It is easy for the power jack to disconnect
and if we are not aware that this is happened, we can lose all power to
the unit. I tried to find some sort of connection at Radio Shack that
the connection to the reader could fit into but the manager stated they
do not have a connection that could make the fit to the reader tighter.
He recommended that this issue be further examined by the technical
folks to resolve this matter.
Any advice you can provide would be much appreciated.
Thank you,
Kathy Davis

Hi Kim and all:
We are actually very close to having the next release available. At
this point we are in the quality assurance phase. Bug finding and
fixing is part of the normal process for any software product. We
hope
to find and fix any defects before we make the new release available,
which should certainly be by mid February or more likely even sooner.
Thanks, J. G.

Subject: [Reader-users] upgrade bug-free and ready?
Question: What is the status of the upgrade for the Reader that was
slated to come out in late January? Is it out and do the manufacturers
believe that the majority of the bugs have been worked out of it yet?
