No, there shouldn't be anything you need to do to get the extra battery to
take a charge. Just put it in the charger and plug it into the wall,
overnight.

Subject: [Reader-users] camera battery
Hi everyone,
I just received my new reader a week ago and love it.
I have a camera battery that won't take a charge. The battery that came
installed will take a charge but the extra battery that came with the reader
will not. Am I missing a tab I have to remove to expose the contacts? If
not how should I get another battery? I bought the unit through an adaptive
products company. The unit was drop shipped to the company and they in turn
shipped it to me.
Thanks for any help in advance.
Randy.
