Is there going to be an update soon?

Pam,

You should have a new SD card to download your upgrade, when they're
available. Then, you can keep that card as the backup and you could
rewrite
over the older version. But, you should always have one card with the
latest upgrade version on it, in case you'd need to reload the software.

I recall reading in the manual that the S D card containing the software
and
supplied with the Reader should not be overwritten and used to upgrade
the
software. Am I interpreting this correctly, or does this mean that this
card should be reserved for the Reader software upgrades only, and not
used
for other devices, as I have read some people have done, only to find
they
have needed to re-install the Reader software originally contained on
the
card?

Please clarify. I have a second HC S D card which I can use for the
purpose, but want to make sure I understand the original instructions.

Thanks very much in advance.

Pam
