MMM ... mine had a case for the Type 1 CF card also. Dunno whether you
can just get cases.
A SD card with at least 120 megabyte capacity would be fine; that means,
in practical terms, that a card with 256 mamegabyte or larger will work
just fine.

Walmart sell cases for my cf card. I should have gotten one, says the
manual, but I only got a case with the sd card in it. The other
pocket
was empty.

It saves as separate documents, all under the folder for that day. You
navigate to them with File Explorer (F3 in Document Reader mode).
