Hello  Roy Dubriel and all,
I think you are referring about the SD Card right next to the camera battery 
slot.
The SD Card INSIDE the camera is not used by the KNFB reader. This SD Card 
slot is for only when the camera would have been used as a STANDALONE 
camera. Boosting its memory will have no affect on the reader performance. I 
would advise to leave the CAMERA's  SD card slot and its SD card alone. The 
camera door should only be opened when replacing the camera battery for 
recharging purposes.
