[Reader-users] finding the memory slot...

Hi all -- I'm in the process of (trying to) install the latest software and
have some questions.

First, I read the braille manual about the reader and changing the memory
card, but I can't for the life of me locate the flash memory slot--or if I
did locate it on the PDA, I can't get the memory card out. I am afraid of
accidently breaking something. I tried using the little stylus in a few
places, but since I don't want to jam into something that might break, I
have put it back in its pocket...

I thought the memory card was near the camera battery. I have successfully
changed the camera battery several times and feel comfortable working with
that, but where does the flash memory go?
Also, what is the big slot in the PDA facing the same direction as the
camera battery door? Is that the flash memory slot? I have my doubts because
of what I feel inside when I insert my finger.

Is the flash memory slot inside the camera or the pda?

Again, I followed the instruction of holding the reader like a sandwich with
the camera on top and the camera battery door facing me.

Any help is much appreciated.

Oh and one other thing: I went and downloaded the software for 3.8.1 and
read the installa tion instructions, but I am wondering: how do I access the
card from my computer? I don't have a memory reader that size, and the knfb
reader didn't come with any adaptor.
Do I need to buy another piece of hardware to do this installation?
Is there a way to connect the knfb directly to the computer via a USB port?
Thanks in advance for any hints.
Sounds as if customer support has gone home early.
