Also remember where the camera is on the reader.  That should help your aim.
You can touch it just to know where it is.  That helped me a lot.

Hello,
My method for getting good pictures is to set the reader down on 
the page in the middle.
Then raise it up about 16 inches, and the first few days, while 
you are getting used to it, use the field of view report, and 
when you have all edges visible, take the picture.
After awhile, you will get a good feel for where to hold the 
reader, and you will become a pro.
