[Reader-users] Battery for Camera

Hi, Mr. Gashel:

The battery is an energizer.  Would that have anything to do with my
difficulty?  I went into a camera place and they saw it was fully charged.
I know I put it in the reader correctly because when I changed back to the
original, the camera turned on.  I thought the light went off when it was
charged.  Anyway, thanks and if you have any other ideas, please advise.

Hi Alco,  you should report the possibly defective camera battery to your
dealer.  A replacement, if you need one, will be provided under your
waranty.  

Leaving the extra battery in the charger plugged in continuously is ok.  If
you or someone can see the indicator lights on the charger the green light
indicates a fully charged battery.  The fully charged battery should then
activate the camera just fine.

I received the additional camera battery and charged it for ninety minutes.
However, when I changed batteries, the camera would not turn on, leading me
to believe that the battery is defective or the charger is defective or
both.  I know I installed the battery correctly because when I changed to
the original which came in the device, the camera turned on just fine.

 

I know there is only one way to put the battery in the charger, so I would
appreciate any information you can provide re this.

 

Just got the reader yesterday and it has great potential, though the
processing is very very slow.
