[Reader-users] Knfb stand

Hi Denise:

You absolutely do not need the stand to take perfectly great pictures of
documents.  The stand may make having the reader available to take a picture
more convenient, but it is absolutely not necessary.  Many if not most of my
pictures are as good without the stand as with it.  

This may be something like having an appliance in your kitchen that you
don't use as much if it is not sitting out on the counter.  So, I often just
leave the Reader in the stand so I can just reach up and snap a picture
without even thinking very much about lining up the shot.  

Finally, if you are going to use the Reader quite a bit to read multiple
page documents, you might find the stand helpful.  This allows you to use
your hands to manipulate the document, rather than being concerned with
holding the reader.
