Hi Graham:
There are two possible causes for this. The first is that the
connection between the camera and the PDA is a bit loose. To correct
this, loosen the velcro battery flap and then pull it just a bit
tighter. This flap should always be fastened quite snug to help
maintain the connection.
The second cause of the message is that the camera battery may be low.
The problem detected signal is another way of informing you that the
camera battery should be changed. You should replace the battery and
see if the condition clears up.
Finally, it is sometimes helpful to do a soft reset so this condition
will be cleared out. Good luck!

Oh the joys of beta testing. Another probllem has arisen with the
device.
When I try to get a field of view report or turn the viewfinder in, it
says:
"problem detected resetting camera"
